Vision changelog

Vision –  the phone for your WebRTC video conferences.
To get the most out of your Vision phone, make sure it is updated to the latest version!

How to update:

  • To update its version, Vision must be connected to the Internet. If there is a new version available, the phone will automatically update during the night.
  • Update manually from Stable: Phone App > Settings > Advanced > click “Search for updates”
  • Update manually from Preview: Phone App > Settings > Advanced > enter the word preview into the field “Update source” and click “Search for updates”; in case there is a new FW available, repeat the last step once again

Vision app PREVIEW version 2.9.98 Date: 13.12.2018

What’s new:

  • Fixed an issue when application in some cases stopped updating status of Trunk, Timetable, Switch and Call Group Feature Keys
  • Added support for adaptive jitter buffer (the max jitter buffer is 500ms) to improve call quality

What’s new:

  • Added configurable timeout in Settings->Developer for “Integration URL” feature
  • Fixed an issue in which user could not hang up a call via handset on Vision if wired headset was connected
  • Fixed an issue with one-way audio after a blind transfer done via Vision Feature Key Colleague if initial call had Direct RTP
  • Fixed an issue with screen keyboard not being hidden for a call generated from live search drop-down menu
  • Fixed an issue when user could not press Login button for the second time in case during the first try there was a network issue
  • Fixed an issue with Colleague BLF not being changed in case user name changed (after this fix, to apply the change it’s sufficient to re-save BLF or reload the app)

  • Fixed an issue in which Vision could not connect to Presence server when all ports except for custom secure port were blocked

What’s new:

  • Fixed an issue i which random digits were deleted from number in international format for numbers longer than 12 digits
  • Decreased load on webserver of PBX during reconnection

  • “Application” button on phone keyboard can now be used to open the Phone app
    “Application” button is situated right under the “Home” button
  • Added a button allowing to close the audio player (used to playback voicemails / recordings)

How to update for the first time:

  1. Make sure Vision is connected to the Internet
  2. Log in to the Wildix Phone app
  3. Go to Phone App > Settings > Advanced > click “Search for updates”
  4. A new version of the Phone App is found, perform the update
  5. Go again to Phone App > Settings > Advanced > click “Search for updates”
  6. A new version of Android FW is found, perform the update

Otherwise, Vision will be updated automatically during the night, however we recommend to update the phone manually, start testing it in your office environment and provide us your feedback!

Current limitations:
