As the technology becomes more accessible, most businesses have moved past the question of whether to adopt it. What they now need to work out is where AI solves a real operational problem, how to implement it, and how to tell whether it delivered measurable value. Those questions depend on how a specific company runs, and a vendor cannot answer them one customer at\u00a0a\u00a0time.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

They work closely enough with the business to understand its processes and its operational constraints, which puts them in a position to judge which AI capabilities are worth deploying and where. A\u00a0recurring theme was that AI works best as a layer running across unified communications, present at every point where the company talks to its customers. Treated as an isolated feature bolted onto the platform, it sees only a fraction of what\u00a0happens.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCapacity was the clearest opportunity discussed. Demand for customer interactions routinely grows faster than a company’s ability to hire. AI can extend a team’s reach by handling routine interactions, qualifying requests, providing first-level assistance and escalating more complex situations to employees, who are then free for the conversations that need judgment. Gartner has reported that 85% of surveyed customer-service leaders planned to explore or pilot customer-facing conversational generative AI in 2025, while 87% of customers said companies using generative AI for customer service should still provide access to a human\u00a0agent.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our partners are close to the day-to-day pressures their customers face, from managing higher interaction volumes to improving responsiveness without simply adding headcount.
