January 2017 was marked by three important events – Wildix Conventions took place in three countries: January 13-14 in Italy at Savoia Regency Hotel of Bologna, January 19-20 in France and January 27 in Germany.
Wildix CEO, Stefano Osler, opened each event by announcing the results of the previous year. Information shared included overall growth of 32%, with the French market reaching 25% of total revenues, growth of the Italian market by 18%, and Germany counting 48 new partners.
In 2016 Wildix opened its US Headquarters office in the United States, in Columbus Ohio led by Robert Cooper, the Wildix Managing Director for the USA.
Dimitri Osler, Wildix CTO, shared the R&D roadmap for 2017. The year’s key themes, Integrations, WebRTC and Cloud, prove the ability of Wildix to meet the needs of the constantly evolving market.
This year Wildix tech partners were present at the Wildix Conventions. Among the attendees were such names as Jabra, Plantronics, Sennheiser, BTicino, Mobotix, 2N, Zendesk and many others. These companies have already integrated with the Wildix communication system.
In 2017 Wildix will continue to invest in the development of WebRTC. Being the first company to integrate native WebRTC into its UC&C platform and with five years of experience in this field, Wildix is now one of the leading companies in WebRTC technology.
According to the Gartner Magic Quadrant for “conferences”, by 2020 30% of meetings will happen online using WebRTC. This year Wildix presented Ubiconf videoconferencing system based purely on WebRTC and allowing both internal and external users to participate in a video conference without having to install any software.
Emiliano Tomasoni, Wildix Marketing Director, illustrated the marketing activities offered to the Partners in 2017 and announced the launch of the “marketing support” program. Currently Wildix is the only WebRTC vendor to offer complete support to its Business Partners in terms of technical assistance, sales, and now also marketing.
Wildix Country Managers, Cristiano Bellumat (Italy), Thierry Gonon (France) and Frédéric Oster (Germany) presented the new commercial offer for each country, only four types of user profiles: Basic, Essential, Business and Premium, which are available for both on-premise and Cloud systems. Wildix offers a disruptive licensing model, characterized by simplicity and transparency as well as by the ability to provide a tailored response to installation RFPs of any size.
Each year Wildix Conventions attract more and more IT and telecommunications professionals. This year the three Wildix European events hosted over 560 participants, including partners, exhibitors, journalists and guests. The number of participants in Italy reached 380, 111 in France, and 70 in Germany, making the Wildix Convention one of the most important telecoms events in Europe.
